MugShot_Jesus VasquezA Plymouth man is sitting in the Marshall County Jail, being charged for Battery to a victim less than 14 years of age. 

On Tuesday, October 9th at 4:30 p.m. the Marshall County Sheriff`s Department was contacted in reference to a one-year-old child being battered with a fly swatter by an adult.

Deputy Jordan Rans investigation the allegation and determined that 50-year-old Jesus B. Vasquez 3919 Michigan Road in Plymouth be arrested for the Battery to a child less than 14.  That charge is a Level 6 Felony.

Vasquez was held on a $1,500 cash bond and given an initial court date of October 23rd in Marshall Superior Court II.
