Plymouth splits weekend matches
SOUTH BEND – Plymouth’s tennis team split decisions at the South Bend Racket Club over the weekend, falling to Penn by a 4-1 decision and taking a win over Fairfield 3-2.
Cortni Cook was the lone winner for Plymouth in the Penn match taking number one singles over Laura Gerber in three sets 3-6, 6-4, 6-1.
Miranda German was the lone singles winner against Fairfield, Plymouth taking the win on a sweep of the doubles matches. The number one team of McKenzie Scheetz and Leah Smith and the number two team of Mary Beatty and Audie Plothow took wins in straight sets.
