According to the NIPSCO website, 859 customers were affected by a quick power outage Monday morning. Some of those affected included the Lincoln Junior High, Martin’s Supermarket, Pro Resources, Morrow Insurance, Plymouth Veterinary, Penguin Point and the Party Pak.
At 10:12 the Plymouth Fire Department responded to 901 Ferndale for a reported pole fire. Within minutes NIPSCO crews were on the scene and able to restore power.
