fatal crashThe Marshall County Sheriff’s Department has released information on a second death in Friday night’s fatal accident on US 31 at 13th Road.

The driver of the Pontiac Grand Am that failed to yield the right of way to south bound traffic on US 31 died Saturday, March 10th in Memorial Hospital in South Bend, where he was airlifted to following the 8:30 p.m. crash.

23 year old Austin Webb of Knox died as a result of the injuries he sustained in the crash.

26 year old Ricky Bradley of Plymouth a passenger in Webb’s vehicle died Friday night from the injuries he sustained in the accident.

Fatal_US31_13thRoad_1Also injured in the crash and airlifted from the scene was 24 year old Myles Brewer of North Judson who was reported to be in critical condition.

Webb’s vehicle was t-boned by a Chevy Silverado Pick-up truck pulling a 5-wheel trailer, being driven by 32 year old Terry Burgess of Elkhart.  The impact caused extensive damage to the passenger side of Webb’s car.

Burgess and his passengers were not injured in the crash.

The Marshall County Sheriff’s Department and Indiana State Police continue to investigate this accident.
