A line of strong thunderstorms will affect southwestern Elkhart, southern St. Joseph, northwestern Kosciusko and Marshall counties.
At 540 PM EDT, radar indicated strong thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near North Liberty to Plymouth to near Culver. Movement was northeast at 35 mph.
Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and half inch hail are possible with these storms. These storms are capable of producing minor tree damage.
Locations impacted include… Plymouth, Nappanee, Bremen, Bourbon, Wakarusa, Argos, Culver, Lakeville, Locke, Etna Green, La Paz, Twin Lakes, Inwood, Teegarden, Rutland, Burr Oak, Maxinkuckee, Tyner, Hibbard and Linkville.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may cause localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
This is a dangerous storm, seek shelter until these storms pass.
