Saint Joseph Health System (SJHS)Community Health & Well-Being is hostinga free, seven-week Tobacco Cessation Class, Freedom from Smoking, at the Community Resource Center of Marshall County beginning Thursday, September 6. Participants should register by Tuesday, September 4.

Offered through SJHS Community Health & Well-Being, the Tobacco Cessation Class is designed to serve as a resource for community members to eliminate their use of tobacco products. This class is recommended for individuals who are trying to quitand need a little help along the way.

Led by Tobacco Education Coordinator, Latorya Greene, course topics include: understanding addiction to nicotine; learning the importance of behavior change; mastering the first few days of quitting; mastering obstacles; and staying quit, enjoying a smoke-free life.

Classes will be held at the Community Resource Center of Marshall County located at 510 West Adams Street in Plymouth on Thursdays from 6 – 7:30 pm including: September 6, 13, 20 and 27 and October 4, 11, and 18. Contact 574.335.4684 for more information and/or to register.
