After much investigation the Marshall County Museum is proud to announce that the old scoreboard from the Centennial gym has be found and will be a part of the sports room.
Thanks to Bill and Sharon Snyder and Mike and Judy Delp for locating and donating the original scoreboard from the old Centennial Auditorium! The donation is in honor of Bob Hileman, Judy Delp’s father and past athletic director of Plymouth High School. The lost artifact was located by Mr. Snyder in Rochester where it had been owned by a private individual.
After hearing a plea from the Marshall County Historical Society for one-of-a-kind artifacts for the new Sports Room, Bill Snyder realized this genuine piece of history had to find a permanent home in Marshall County!
The scoreboard is now on display in the Sports Room at the Marshall County Museum for all Marshall County sports enthusiasts to enjoy at 123 North Michigan Street in downtown Plymouth!
