marijuana-arrest-handcuffsOn Wednesday, March 14th the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department contacted Plymouth Police and told them a female had just been in their lobby and had a strong odor of marijuana on her.  Dispatched advised the female was driving a silver Chevy northbound on Pioneer Drive.

Plymouth Police Officer Ray West stopped the vehicle at US 30 and Pioneer Drive at 12:15 Wednesday afternoon. There was a strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle and the driver, 25 year old Brittani Ashley Smith of South Bend was taken to Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center Plymouth.  A chemical test was given and showed positive for marijuana.

Brittani Smith was lodged in the Marshall County Jail.
