TRITON STUDENT ART BRINGS AWARENESS TO MENTAL HEALTH

TritonHighSchool_Art Mental health 2018Congratulation to Triton School Corporation graduate and Ball State University Freshman, Miss Montana Golden for her Excellence in Art as recognized by Mental Health America of Indiana. Montana was selected as an award recipient of the Mental Health Art Contest.

In May, to bring awareness to the unique mental health challenges that students can face, 132 students representing 18 high schools across Indiana, created and submitted artwork pieces in various mediums for the “Your Health Matters” student art competition and showcase.   Triton High Schools was awarded $1,000 for their art programs with the purpose of promoting mental wellness and reducing stigma, through art.

Triton School Superintendent Jeremy Riffle said, “Congratulations Montana and we wish you the best on your 1st year at Ball State University. Thank you for representing Triton School Corporation in a positive way! The Trojan Way! “
