42 year old Jennifer Poirier and 24 year old Denisha Herron, both of Plymouth were arrested following a traffic stop Thursday night.
About 9:45 Officer Paul Stamper with the Plymouth Police Department pulled a vehicle over at North Michigan Street and Plymouth Goshen Trail for an equipment violation. During the traffic stop, Jennifer Poirier was found to be operating a vehicle while intoxicated on a controlled substance and in possession of marijuana. Denisha Herron, a passenger in the vehicle was found to be in possession of marijuana. Both females were lodged in MCJ.
