U.S. Representative Jackie Walorski (R-Ind.) Saturday released the following statement on the deadly shooting at the Tree of Life Synagogue in Pittsburgh, Pa.:
“I am deeply saddened by the horrific act of anti-Semitic violence committed in Pittsburgh today. To attack a place of worship and those gathered there in peace is evil beyond words. I am praying for the victims and their families, for the brave first responders, and for the entire Jewish community. Our country must stand together against terror and hate.”
Walorski represents the 2nd Congressional District of Indiana, serving as a member of the House Ways and Means Committee.
