Plymouth Police carA South Bend driver was arrested on Friday afternoon by Officer Weir of the Plymouth Police Department.

About 1:45 a traffic stop was conducted on a black Chevy Impala for an infraction.  After speaking with the driver and running his information through the BMV it was found that 34 year old Wallace Wilson III was Driving While Suspended with a prior charge.  He also had an active warrant out of Whitley County for drugs and resisting.

Wilson was transported to the Marshall County Jail and held on a $1,500 cash bond.

 

Listeners and readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
