Caucus Scheduled to Fill Vacant County Commission Seat

caucusOn October 10th, Marshall County Commissioner Mike Delp announced his immediate resignation from the Board of County Commissioners.  That resignation has created a vacant seat on the County Commissioners.

The Marshall County Republican Party will conduct a caucus to fill the vacancy created when Delp resigned on Monday, October 28th at 6 p.m. in the Marshall County Republican Headquarters at 117 Water Street in downtown Plymouth.

Candidates must Republican and live in Center Township.   Anyone interested in the position should file a declaration of candidacy no later than 72 hours, (6 p.m. on Friday, October 25th) in advance of the caucus with County Chairman David Holmes.  You may send letters of intent to David Holmes at 116 West Plymouth Street, Bremen, IN 46506 or email him at dholmes@walterlaw.net. While the candidate must be from Center Township, the caucus will involve all Republican Precinct Committeemen in the decision making process.
