Stellarbration_1Indiana’s Lt. Governor Suzanne Crouch was in Marshall County on Thursday exactly two weeks after the county found out they were successful in their second attempt at being Stellar. She was on hand to present the official distinction to the Marshall County Crossroads Stellar team.

Stellarbration_2The Stellar designation brings a multi-year, multi-million dollar investment to the region led by the Office of Community and Rural Affairs.  The program works with the Marshall County region on their vision for community and economic development and assists in implementing innovative solutions to challenges the various communities face.

Stellarbration_3 ribbon cuttingOver the next four years millions of funds will be available to assist with funding 35 projects in Argos, Bourbon, Bremen, Culver, LaPaz and Plymouth.  While it’s hoped the projects will attract more visitors to the towns, the major plan is to create more quality of life projects that will attract new families to Marshall County to live, work and play.
