Kaila Tapia Arrested for Meth and Several other Charges

MugShot_kaila tapia 4-29-19A traffic stop on Sunday, April 28th resulted in the arrest of a Plymouth woman.

At approximately 2:30 Sunday morning, Officer Wozniak with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department initiated a traffic stop on a gold 2005 Buick minivan in the area of Jefferson Street and Oak Drive in Plymouth.

During the investigation, a female passenger in the vehicle, 25 year old Kaila M. Tapia was found to be in possession of methamphetamine, syringes, and had active warrants.

Tapia was transported to the Marshall County Jail and booked in for Possession of Methamphetamine, Unlawful Possession of a Syringe, False Informing, a probation violation and two warrants for failure to appear.  Her cash bond was set at $3,000 for the new charges and $382 for the failure to appears and NO BOND for the probation violation.
