Time to Change your Clocks Saturday Night

October 31, 2019
By

Fall Back 2019Whether you love it or hate it, it’s time for the semi-annual time change.

If you don’t want to be late for church on Sunday you’d better turn your clocks back one hour Saturday night.

The official switch, part of the Daylight Saving Time program, takes place at 2 a.m. Sunday, November 3rd.

For those of you who get confused on which way to move your clocks, forward or backwards…..the trick to remembering which way to turn the clock in the spring and fall is “fall back” and “spring forward.”

So before you jump into bed Saturday night, it’s a good idea to reset your clocks.

Our local fire departments also recommend changing the batteries on your smoke detectors while you’re changing the clocks. It’s a good way to remember both.
