Nick FisherTwenty-seven year old, Nick Fisher, brother of Mayoral candidate Ben Fisher, filed last Tuesday for City Council-at-Large. There are three seats available and four candidates have filed for the May Primary.

Nick Fisher has always volunteered alongside his brothers in many community projects, whether it be filling sandbags, collecting and delivering food, clothing and other needs, through church, school, mentoring our youth through sports or just being a good listener.

As a parishioner of St. Michael’s, he is an advocate of Pro-Life, as well as the Second Amendment.

Nick is a hard worker and gives credit to mentors like Tom Blackburn of Ponderosa and Calvin Bailey of Bailey’s Furniture.

“They, along with various coaches in my life, took the time and patience to encourage, explain and give me a chance to prove myself,” Fisher said.

Nick is employed by TCS of Knox and is a Local 645 member.

He is excited and ready to fulfill one of the at-large council seats and serve the entirety of the City of Plymouth.   He said, “I have fresh eyes to see things tired eyes may have missed. I will listen to all of our Community and if I don’t have an answer, I will seek one and work with our neighbors to bring about good answers for Plymouth.”

Nick feels, as does his brother, Ben, they are being called to serve and work with their entire community, to give back to so many who have been there, their entire lives.

In closing Nick Fisher said,  “It is time for us to step up and be there for our Hometown”.
