Argos gets a big win at Academy
CULVER — Argos traveled to the Culver Academy Friday night and came away with 48-18 road victory.
The Dragon defense would hold CMA to six first-half points on their way to a 22-6 half time lead.
The second half was all Argos, with Sophomore Elizabeth Edmonds scoring all of her game-high 18 points in the last half. With Senior Morgan Dunlap still out with a severe ankle sprain, Junior Maddie VanDerWeele would handle the point guard position, controlling the tempo, while adding 16 points.
Seniors Emily Lafree and Kagnie Hoffman would combine for 10 points.
In the JV game, Argos took a 42-19 Victory.
Freshman Emma Dunlap would lead all scorers with 21 points.
Argos (7-4) travels to Peru to face the Lady Tigers Thursday night, before hosting Elkhart Christian Saturday night at the Den.
