Domestic Battery ArrestAn Argos woman is in the Marshall County Jail, arrested on Tuesday, August 27th after an Argos Police Officer was dispatched to 401 Marshall Street for a domestic battery that was in progress.

Officer Aaron Yeargin located Jennifer Sprague who was sitting in a vehicle in the driveway.  Asking for her ID, she took him into the kitchen area of the home.  The officer detected the smell of alcohol and while attempting to speak Sprague she did not make a lot of sense.

Speaking to Sprague’s children they said she had been drinking and was upset because of an ex-boyfriend. They said their mother got angry and was in their face yelling.  She was accused of pulling one of her daughter’s hair and hitting her in the face.  It is alleged she grabbed the other daughter by the throat and applied pressure.

Sprague was so intoxicated she had to be transported to the hospital for clearance to be lodged in the Marshall County Jail.

38 year old Jennifer Sprague of Argos was booked into the Marshall County Jail for Domestic Battery in the presence of a child and Neglect of a Dependent.  She was held on a $1,500 cash bond and given a October 1st court date in Marshall Superior Court I.
