County BuildingThe Marshall County Council has a lengthy agenda for their meeting Monday morning, June 10th starting at 9 a.m.

Jim Causey and Brent Martin from Garden Court will again request support from the county for the permanent Supportive Housing project on West Jefferson Street.  It was announced last week that the project was awarded $1.7 million for the Indiana Housing and Community Development Authority.

County Plan Director Ty Adley will give the commissioners and update on his department and Sheriff Hassel will seek approval to apply for two grants and ask for a probationary pay waiver for an employee.

Other agenda items include Christine Stinson from the County Health Department asked for permission to apply for a preparedness grant, Tami Napier and Kellie Kanarr from the Prosecutor’s office asking for a probationary pay waiver and the 2019 community corrections prosecutor’s diversion budget.  Ward Byers from Community Corrections will also be presenting the 2019 budget.

Jason Peters, Superintendent of the County Highway will discuss the laborer seasonal mowing crew supervisor and the commissioners will seek funding for the Water Task Force engineering study.

The meeting begins at 9 a.m. in the second floor meeting room of the County Building.  Comments and questions are limited to the first order of business.
