Two quotes were received for the demolition of the former Clark Station at 400 East Jefferson Street during Monday’s Board of Public Works and Safety meeting.
City attorney Sean Surrisi opened quotes from Langfeldt Excavating of Plymouth and Jackson Demolition Services of Rochester. Jackson Demolition offered a quote of $14,900 for the project of removing the former gas station building while Langfeldt had a quote of $12,300.
The City Attorney asked the Board of Public Works and Safety to allow him and department heads to review the quotes and award the lowest and most responsible quote so the project may move forward with the threat of colder weather fast approaching.
The Board of Public Works and Safety approved the request.
