Bourbon gymnasium_1Triton School’s Superintendent, Jeremy Riffle, shared an overview of activities that had taken place over the last month. His presentation was part of the school board meeting on October 14.

Riffle said, “We work as a team. Each member provides essential leadership in support of our common goals.” He went on to thank Mason McIntyre and Todd Zeiger for their work in formulating a plan for moving forward with the old gym. Several meetings were held in August of this year to host a community meeting-proposal date along with video and Facebook posts to publicize the August 14 date.

Bourbon gymnasium_2Requests for Proposals (RFP) are due on March 13, 2020 by 4:00 P.M.  Review of the proposals and a decision will be made by April 30, 2020 and that decision could be acted upon at the May 22, 2020 Triton School Board meeting.

Riffle said, “Indiana Landmarks put out a nice article last week asking for a Champion for the Old Gym. This was posted on our Facebook page to continue to remind interested individuals of the timelines for submission.”
