ISP_Jason FaulstichIndiana State Police Superintendent Douglas Carter recently announced the reclassification of Master Trooper Jason Faulstich to the position of detective. Detective Faulstich will serve in the Intelligence and Investigative Technologies, Cyber Crime and Investigative Technologies Section. Detective Faulstich earned his assignment to Investigations through completion of written testing and a competitive interview process.

Faulstich, a twenty-two year veteran of the Indiana State Police, graduated from Plymouth High School and later attended Indiana State University where he earned a degree in Criminology.

Faulstich graduated from the Indiana State Police Academy in December of 1996, and was assigned to the Bremen Post. During his time with the state police Faulstich has served as a field training officer (FTO) and served on the Meth Team and All Crimes Policing Team. Faulstich is also a First Aid Instructor and trained as a Digital Media Recovery Specialist (DMRS).

Detective Faulstich is married and lives in Marshall County wife his wife and two children.
