MugShot_Phelps, CarrieOn August 13, Terry Greene of 800 block of Queen Road, Walkerton called the Marshall County Sheriff`s Department and reported a burglary and theft of the residence.

Officer Gorny went to the home and took a report concerning the burglary and theft. The Marshall County Sheriff`s Department then started and continued with the investigation.

On Wednesday, September 11, Carrie A. Phelps, age 32, of Walkerton was arrested for Failure to Appear and booked into the Marshall County Jail.  Carrie Phelps is also a suspect for the burglary of the house and theft of the residence.

A case report has been completed and forwarded to the Marshall County Prosecutor`s Office for review and formal charges being completed.

On September 25, a warrant was issued for Phelps for two counts of Theft, a class A misdemeanor and two counts of Burglary of a Dwelling, a Level 4 Felony. The bond for Carrie A. Phelps for this is $5,000 cash.
