Lakeville woman arrested by ISPMonday Indiana State Troopers and officers with the Lakeville Police Department focused efforts near a residence on Mott Street in Lakeville after receiving citizen complaints of suspected drug activity.

Troopers stopped a silver 2005 Buick for several moving violations on New Road near Miami Road, around 10:50 a.m., and found that the driver, Ethel Howard, 61 of Lakeville was wanted out of St. Joseph County for two felony warrants. A subsequent search of the Buick revealed suspected methamphetamine and suspected marijuana.

A search warrant for Howard’s residence, located at 100 Mott Street Apartment 16, was executed with the assistance of the Lakeville Police Department; around 1:00 p.m. Troopers discovered suspected methamphetamine, suspected marijuana, scales, and drug paraphernalia.

Howard was arrested for the two outstanding warrants, Possession of Methamphetamine, and Possession of Marijuana and taken to the St. Joseph County Jail.
