Rieth Riley Construction Company from South Bend was awarded the bid for the 2019 Fall Street and Sidewalk Projects by the Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety Monday evening.
Three companies presented bids for consideration. E & B Paving Inc. from South Bend had a bid of $536,209.61 while Reith Riley Construction Company Inc. from South Bend bid $467,814 and Walsh and Kelly Inc. of South Bend bid $559,869.99.
The Board approved the low bid of Rieth Riley with the stipulation that the City Council will approve the additional appropriation need and the Department of Local Government Finance approved the additional.
The projects for this fall are Williams Street from South Michigan Street to Liberty Street; Third Street from Lake Avenue to Jefferson Street and Washington Street from Third Street to Plum Street.
