City HallThe City meetings will be held Monday evening in the second floor council chambers of City Hall.  The firsts meeting, the Board of Public Works and Safety begins at 6 p.m.

The Board of Works will consider a proposal regarding the lease of spaces in the Water Street Parking Lot to set up a portable food vendor.  Also on their agenda is a request for sidewalk improvements at 423 Miner Street and pothole repairs on Williams Street by Stacey Erickson.

Under requests the board will consider the closures of West Jefferson Street for the Cars and Coffee events by John Montgomery.  Laura Mann, the City’s event coordinator will seek the closure of North Michigan Street for the Tractor Show this summer.

In other business, the board will consider a contract with Ecker Cleaning to clean the main floor of the city building.

Following the Board of Public Works and Safety meeting is the Council meeting at 6:30.   The council will conduct a public hearing for an additional appropriation request.  A portion of the request is the $142,600 the city pledged to the Aquatics Center as they continue with additional funding to meet an $800,000 goal.  Following the public hearing the council will consider a resolution approving the additional appropriations.

Also on their agenda is the consideration of Compliance Forms for the Tax Abatement of several companies and there is also a presentation by Dan Tanner of Concierge Medicine.

The meetings are open to the public but comments are limited to agenda items.  Those attending should enter through the Garro Street door and go to the second floor.
