County snow plowDue to some very strange weather conditions today: snow, sleet and rain, most roads in Marshall County have been scraped down and plowed off.

County Highway Road Superintendent Jason Peters said, “With temperatures falling, road surfaces are freezing and creating slick spots throughout the county.”  He said, snow and slush areas are not too bad, bare pavement area are where most slick spot are refreezing.  County highway crews have treated most of these slick spots, but Peters urges resident to use caution while driving across these areas with the potential to refreeze as the temperatures drop overnight.

Highway crews will be heading out at 4 a.m. to begin tackling county roadways.
