County snow plowJason Peters, Superintendent of the Marshall County Highway Department said talking with the plow drivers this morning, the county roads were not nearly as slick as they were last night.

Peters said drifting throughout the night caused some county roads to be down to one lane and tough for smaller car to pass through.   He said north and south roads seem to be worst.

Highway crews start between 4 and 4:30 this morning plowing drifts back.

Peters urges drivers to use caution and try to avoid areas if possible that are known to drift and have caused travel hazards in pass drifting situation.
