Earlier this month Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb announced the final round of Community Crossing grant funding for this year. The City of Plymouth received additional funds in the second round for two projects.
In July, City Engineer Rick Gaul asked the Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety to support the application for a second grant to mill and fill Ferndale Street from Liberty Street to East Street and Airport Drive from Michigan Street to the airport. Their support was in the amount of a 50% match for the grant.
The two projects were funded in the second round of Community Crossing grants in the amount of $114,910.47. These two projects are anticipated to be completed in the spring of 2020.
