Glenn double winner at LV Shootout
LAKEVILLE — The eighth-grade basketball team closed the LaVille Shootout with a 38-25 loss to North Judson-San Pierre Saturday at Dale E. Cox Gymnasium. Earlier in the day, the Lancers fell to Winamac 35-29.
Against Judson Lucas Plummer led LaVille with 10 points. Erik Bedock added six points.
LaVille battled before dropping a 35-29 decision to Winamac.
Erik Bedock scored 11 points. Michael Good added a pair of 3-pointers for six while Lucas Plummer and Nathan Kurzhal chipped in with five points each.
The eighth grade falls to 3-6 overall and will play host to Oregon-Davis on December 16. The seventh-grade game will start at 6 p.m., with the eighth grade to follow.
For Glenn the Falcons took game one the Falcons defeated South Bend LaSalle 57-30.
Chase Miller led all scorers with 17 points, while Joey Shoue added 13 and Joe Chrapliwy has 12 to pace the offense.
In game two the Falcons defeated Bremen 54-14. Joey Shoue led all scorers with 14 and Charlie Hill added 12 points to pace the offense.
Glenn will be back in action Monday night when they travel to Knox.
