On Friday, February 22, at approximately 2:15 a.m, Marshall County Police initiated a traffic stop in the area of US 30 and Union Road.
The driver of the vehicle, 62 year old David Allen Lott of Hamlet was found to have an active warrant for his arrest in which he was taken into custody.
During the arrest, Police located marijuana and other narcotics in his possession.
Lott was lodged in the Marshall County Jail.
