Air Force Airman Cassidy M. Holiday graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas on August 16, 2019. Airman Holiday was an Element Leader and was also selected as an Honor Graduate by her training instructor. Honor graduates must achieve a minimum of 90% on their physical fitness test, as well as 90 or above on all written exams.Regulations limit the number of selectees to no more than ten percent of the flight.
Airman Holiday completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.In addition, airmen who complete basic training earn credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.
Cassidy is the daughter of Mark and Janis Jeffirs Holiday of Plymouth, and a 2019 graduate of Plymouth High School.
