WRM Rough and TumbleTiny Folk Band with a Big Sound to Appear at Wild Rose Moon on Saturday, August 24th at 8 p.m. and that morning at 11 a.m. at the Wild Rose Moon Radio Show.

The ‘thriftstore-Americana duo’ The Rough and Tumble, which consists of Mallory Graham & Scott Tyler, are taking a break from their country-wide adventures in their 16’ camper to perform at the Wild Rose Moon. Performing in living rooms, bars, theaters, and festivals across the country, they have branded themselves with creating a small paradise with their humorous and intimate interactions with their audiences.

Mallory and Scott are as inseparable in their music as they are in their camper. Before living in their camper, the duo were avid collectors of little trinkets until realizing the amount of space they had did not allow for that in the future. They began to collect something entirely different, a menagerie of magical and distinctive sounds brought together in song. Their instruments range from acoustic guitars to a banjulele, sure to delight the onlooker.

The duo has been recognized as a Feature Showcase Artist at 2018 SERFA, and a 2018 honorable mention for the Listening Room Network. The Rough & Tumble’s 2018 album release, We Made Ourselves a Home When We Didn’t Know, “brought the listener to the road and the road to their home, an album as cozy, comfortable and inviting as a well-worn couch” (Bill Kopp, Mountain Xpress).  Not only does the band stay busy releasing albums, but they also have a weekly livecast, a monthly blog, a Cook & Color Book, a food blog, participation in the 2018 SERFA Official Showcase Artist, and all while playing upwards of 150 shows a year.

“Their Americana music is restorative, their performance highly entertaining, their orchestra of unusual instruments intriguing, and… jokes and stories are worthy of an HBO special.” (Linda Bolton, Cozy Cabin House Concerts).

Mallory and Scott perform at Wild Rose Moon this Saturday night, August 24th, at 8 p.m and at the Wild Rose Moon Radio Hour that morning at 11 a.m.
