Representative Jack Jordan said in a recent release, “This year marks 18 years since the 9/11 terrorist attacks on our country. We have come to acknowledge this anniversary as Patriot Day, and use it as a time to recognize, remember and honor the 2,977 men and women who lost their lives on that tragic day.”
Jordan continued, “As we reflect on the victims in New York City, Washington, D.C., and Shanksville, Pennsylvania, we also honor the brave first responders who courageously ran toward danger to save others.”
