Kosciusko County Sheriff's DeptAn interdiction detail conducted by Kosciusko County’s NET 43 on August 15th led to multiple arrests in K County. Based upon intelligence gathered from several traffic stops, NET 43 officers obtained a search warrant for 4542 W 400 N. Assisted by the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office, Warsaw Police Department and Lutheran EMS; Kosciusko County and Warsaw SWAT units converged upon the residence at 8:22 p.m.

In addition to 131 grams methamphetamine and one gram heroin, officers recovered an abundance of stolen tools and lawn equipment from the premises. With an estimated value of approximately $25,000, law enforcement agencies in Kosciusko and Marshall Counties are sifting through case reports; attempting to track the property. It has been confirmed that several of the tools were taken from storage units throughout the area. Many of the items have not been identified, as the owners may not be aware of their disappearance. Frank Daniels, Kendall Rodgers and Chad Thompson were taken into custody and transported to the Kosciusko County Jail.

A separate search warrant was simultaneously executed at 8280 E US 30 lot 52, by NET 43. Officers located one ounce of methamphetamine inside the residence, resulting in the arrests of Maryjean and Troy Howard. The Howards were taken into custody and transported to the Kosciusko County Jail.

Maintaining a common nuisance and possession of methamphetamine with a bond of $25,000 surety plus $250 cash

  1. Troy Douglas Howard, 52, of Pierceton

Dealing methamphetamine with a bond of $25,000 surety plus $250 cash

  1. Maryjean Emline Howard, 51, of Elkhart

Dealing methamphetamine with a bond of $25,000 surety plus $250 cash

 

The Kosciusko County Prosecutor’s Office advises that the defendant’s charge (arrest) is merely an accusation and that the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
