LaVille falls to Academy
CULVER — The varsity volleyball team battled for every point before dropping a hard-fought 3-0 decision at Culver Academy.
Rebekah Beehler and Olivia Goze led the net attack. Beehler had three kills and three blocks. Goze chipped in with three blocks, as well.
Mia Mears handed out five assists, while Sydney Coblentz added four assists.
Natalie Gonzalez led the defense in digs.
LaVIlle (10-12 overall) will play host to Triton in a crucial Hoosier North Athletic Conference match.
