The Lincoln 8th grade boys basketball team competed in the Northwood Shootout on Saturday, 23 November. Lincoln battled two tough teams and ended the tourney 1-1. First game, they clashed against a very talented Northwood team; loosing 24-50. Standouts for Lincoln were Coby Walters with 12 points and Skyler Ganshorn with 7 points. Payton Bonebreak chipped in 5 points.
Second game, Lincoln battled Triton. Lincoln fought hard and came out victorious 49-46 in a hotly contested game. Leading the team in scoring was Caleb Bowling with 13 points, Coby Walters with 12 points, and Skyler Ganshorn with 11 points. Other players contributing to the victory were David Sills, 7 points; Tanner Gault, 4 points; and Alan Cantero, 2 points.
