Lincoln seventh splits at Chesterton
CHESTERTON — Lincoln Jr. High’s seventh grade boys basketball started off the season Nov. 16 at the Chesterton tourney.
Lincoln beat New Prairie in the first game 25-18 and lost to Chicago Block 54-32 coming home with a 2nd place trophy for the day.
Lincoln also had a road game at Bremen Tuesday. Both the A and B teams combined into one team to take on the Lions. Lincoln was able to pull away early and win 44-15. Leading scorers were C.J. DeLee with 10 points, Kaden Milliser with nine, and Troy Hundt with seven.
Lincoln will have their home season opener Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. against Tippy Valley.
