Lions upset St. Joe
BREMEN – The Bremen girls basketball team picked up a huge home Northern Indiana Conference win by upsetting No. 18 (Class 3A) South Bend St. Joseph, 57-37, Thursday. With the win, Bremen improves to 8-4 on the season and 5-2 in the NIC. The Lady Lions were led in scoring by Erin Coffel with a career-high 32 points. Ellia Foster added 18 and DD Duran chipped in seven. Bremen returns to action on Tuesday, Dec. 17 at home vs. NorthWood. JV will tip off at 6:00 with varsity to follow at 7:30.
