Brown Bag Potawatomi (1)This Tuesday the Marshall County Museum will host a special program that will feature three ancestors of Native Americans that survived the Trail of Death.

These ancestors visit Indiana each year to display their art at the Eiteljorg Museum in Indianapolis and the come to remember their history at the Chief Menominee Monument.

The trio will be sharing their history, art and activism, in a program called, “Walking in Our Ancestor’s Footsteps: Beyond the Trail of Death,” this Tuesday, June 25 from Noon to 1:30 PM at the Marshall County Museum, 123 North Michigan Street in historic downtown Plymouth.

Attendees will enjoy a gourd art demonstration and have the opportunity to try their hand at beading!
