Weather AlertThe National Weather Service has issued a Hydrologic Outlook due to the potential for heavy rainfall expected later this week.  A series of weather systems will move into our area that will contain a very high water content and could bring the potential for as much as 2 inches of rain from early Thursday into Saturday.

Impacts from the rain fall may include: minor flooding of low lying areas that are susceptible to flooding; flooding of creeks and ditches; a rise in some river levels with the potential for reaching flood stage and ponding on road surfaces leading to hazardous driving conditions.

Marshall County EMA Director, Clyde Avery said, “I will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates as they become available.”
