Miller's_Red and Green Party Maryssa and Cindy Dec 2019Residents, family, staff and volunteers of Miller’s Assisted Living Facility held their Annual RED & GREEN Party on Christmas Eve during the afternoon.  Finger foods were provided by dietary staff and volunteers.  Each resident received a gift and a box of chocolates generously provided a community member and a family member.  Mrs. Claus (Becky Hooley) and Elf (Hal Scott) passed these items out as Santa and his other elves were busy packing their sleigh for their trip around the world “delivering toys to all the good little girls and boys”!  Mrs. Claus had her dog Daisy Mae with her and many residents enjoyed holding her while Mrs. Claus worked.  Christmas Trivia was played with prizes going to each person who answered correctly.  The winners of the Red and Green Contest were as follows:

There was also a candy guessing game.  There were 267 M & M’s in a Christmas Jar.  Norma Young won the jar of candy by having the closest guess of 266 M & M’s.

Residents will “Rock in the New Year” on Tuesday, Dec 31st at 1:30 p.m. with a Quentin Flagg concert.  This concert is free and open to the public.
