Miller's_Health Careers Class Donations August 2019Miller’s Assisted Living Facility recently hosted a Health Careers Class Supply Drive.  Health Career Class instructor Cindy Capron explained the need in this way, “It is no different than helping when we are asked to help fill backpacks for public school students.  Our students are older and doing their best to gain an education in a career that they can walk into after graduation.  There are many supplies that they need and sometimes just don’t have the money to purchase.  With the donations of these items our Health Career Students can go to our supply cupboard and find the things they need to get their assignments completed.”

Miller’s Assisted Living Director of Marketing invited the public to a spaghetti meal.  The meal was free to those who came bearing needed career class items. If you missed out on the meal but would still like to donate needed items the list is as follows:  Kleenex, alcohol gel, pencils, latex-free medical gloves, pens, mechanical pencils, glue sticks, digital thermometers, construction paper, scotch tape, folders, binders, adult size scissors, notebooks, large paper clips, probe covers, sticky printed alphabet letters, poster board.  Items may be dropped off at Miller’s Assisted Living, 625 Oakhill Avenue in Plymouth.
