Residents of Miller’s Assisted Living had a busy and enjoyable Memorial Day. While some were able to attend the Memorial Day ceremonies held in the downtown area or with family members; others stayed home enjoyed a traditional picnic meal served by Miller’s dietary staff. The menu consisted of grilled hamburgers and hot dogs, baked beans and potato salad plus cookies and a fruit salad.
The Duff Family Volunteers added to the enjoyment of the day as they spent time playing cards and other games with the residents. Later in the afternoon residents and guests were invited to the back porch to share in a beautifully presented and refreshing red/white/blue trifle dessert served by Volunteer Kathy Ambrose and Activity Director Cindy Flagg.
