Miller's_5Star_1Miller’s Merry Manor in Plymouth was recently honored by Johnson Memorial Health, Suburban Health Organization, and local dignitaries for achieving a 5-star rating by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).  Joining Miller’s staff at the recognition party was City Council Members Bill Walters, Jeff Houin and Shilo Milner, along with Christopher Lee, representing Jackie Walorski. An Indiana Senate Certificate of Achievement plaque signed by State Senator Ryan Mishler was presented to Administrator Bryan Zehr and Director of Nursing Heather Birk.  In addition, each Miller’s staff member received a special t-shirt in recognition of the achievement.

CMS ranks facilities from one to five stars, based on the results of inspections by the Indiana State Board of Health, staffing, and quality measures. “A 5-star Overall Rating is reserved for a relatively small group of the State’s long term care facilities, so this rating reflects the diligence of the great team here at Miller’s,” stated Zehr, who added, “We are very proud to be able to work alongside our community’s physicians and providersto help our neighbors through the times they need help the most.”
