Marshall County Police investigated a single vehicle accident Friday morning, January 4th on State Road 17 near 12th Road.
The call came into the County’s Centralized Dispatch Center about 10:35 with the report of a personal injury accident.
Plymouth Fire & EMS were dispatched to the scene along with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department.
The found a newer Nissan Titan pickup truck on the south side of State Road 17. Two people were in the truck and one had a bleeding head wound and was transported to St. Joseph Hospital in Plymouth.
The Indiana Department of Transportation was also called to the scene because the accident occurred due to slippery road. They then spread abrasive down on the shaded areas where the roadway was slippery.
The Marshall County Police did not have an accident report available with details on who was involved.
