A motorcycle driver was injured in single vehicle crash Friday morning.
About 20 minutes after 10 the Marshall County Dispatch Center received a 911 call and sent emergency responders to the scene on US 31.
Officer Ryan Hollopeter investigated the crash that sent a Hammond man to the hospital.
The driver of the 2018 Harley Davidson motorcycle was merging onto U.S. 31 south bound from U.S. 30. The motorcycle lost traction due to road surface conditions and ended up running off the roadway landing in the median.
34 year old Enrique Cook was transported from the scene by EMS to the hospital. Radio traffic called for a helicopter and it was stated he had a serious laceration to the back of his head.
