Nat. Weather Service logoHere is the latest update from the National Weather Service:

First the good news…..Friday is expected to be dry with some sunshine around.

There is some indication that the Friday night heavy rain event might be shifted more to our southeast, but areas west of IN-15 and south of US-30 may still see some rain from that.

Another heavy rain event may affect the area Saturday night, but confidence is low on its storm track at this time.  A few showers may occur during the day Saturday.  A better chance for thunderstorms along with showers occurs Sunday afternoon.

For the weekend, the National Weather Service is predicting a half to 2 inches of rainfall.

The Yellow River is currently at 7.44 feet.

The Tippecanoe River is currently at 8.62 feet.
