NO THRU TRUCKSNO THRU TRUCK signs are being posted this week on several roadways in Marshall County.

During Monday’s Commissioner meeting, Highway Superintendent Jason Peters gave the commissioners a listing of road where he was having the new signs installed.

Drives will notice the warning signs on Plymouth Goshen Trail from US 6 to the County line; on Fir Road from US 30 to the Town limits of Bremen; on 8th Road from State Road 331 to the County line; on Dogwood Road from US 6 to the County line; on 3B Road from State Road 331 to the County line and on Dogwood Road from US 6 to State Road 331.

Once the signs are posted large trucks will not be permitted to us the county roadways as a through-way.  If the trucks and semis have a delivery to make on the road that is posted NO THRU TRUCKS there won’t be an issue but using marked county road as a short cut and being stopped by a police officer could land you a $300 fine.
